The Pokljuka plateau makes cross-country skiing dreams come true. At a height of 1283-1330m the plateau is situated in the middle of Triglav National Park, a protected area of dense fir tree woods.
In 1990 the biathlon sport discovered this Slovenian region. Since then the annual contest of the Biathlon World Cup has been hosted here.
Sheltered from the wind by the density of the woods, you have 40km of different cross-country ski runs. Additionally, the area includes some slopes, two lifts and a toboggan run. Courses in Ski alpine, Carving, Snowboard and Telemark are available, along with a ski playschool with a special children's lift for the youngest guests.
