Bled is the perfect base for your ski or snowboard holiday, being at the centre of some of the finest resorts in Slovenia. Bearers of the 'Julian Alps' ski pass are entitled to ski at Straža, Vogel, Kobla, Soriška planina, Krvavec, Kranjska Gora and Pokljuka–Viševnik ski centres, all of which are under an hour away. In addition, the Straža hill in the centre of Bled offers floodlit night skiing and opportunities to less demanding skiers. Ski bus services run twice daily from your hotel in Bled to Kobla (22 km) and Vogel (30 km) and back, once daily to Krvavec (35 km) and Pokljuka (25 km) and back. Bearers of the 'Julian Alps' ski pass are entitled to free transport on the ski bus. Other ski centres are easily accessible by car.
